Waterproofing & Insulation

The cheapest package on the job and the most expensive to get wrong.

NRGC applies waterproofing and insulation systems — roof waterproofing, below-grade tanking, membrane and liquid-applied systems, thermal insulation and damp proofing — with substrate preparation and flood testing included.

Waterproofing failures surface years later, usually inside a finished building. We treat substrate preparation and detailing at upstands, penetrations and junctions as the work — the membrane itself is the easy part.

Systems are flood tested and recorded before anything is covered.

What the package covers

  • Wet area and bathroom tanking
  • Water tank and reservoir lining

Questions

About this service

Which waterproofing systems does NRGC apply?

Both torch-applied and self-adhesive membrane systems and liquid-applied coatings, selected against the substrate, the exposure and the warranty required. We also install thermal insulation and vapour barriers as part of the same build-up.

Is the waterproofing tested before covering?

Yes. Horizontal areas are flood tested and the results recorded before screed, tiling or protection boards go down, so a failure is found while it is still cheap to fix.
