After handover

Facility Management & O&M

The building is finished. That is when the twenty-year part of the job starts.

Hard facility management and O&M cover the operation and maintenance of a building’s physical systems after handover — HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fabric. NRGC has provided service and maintenance works since the business was founded, including renovating and maintaining factories, facilities, event venues and residential buildings, and offers planned preventive maintenance and reactive call-out contracts.

NRGC was set up to provide engineering, operations and maintenance expertise, and maintenance work has run alongside the construction side ever since — renovating and maintaining factories, facilities, event venues, residential buildings and private villas.

It is the same crews either way. The AC technicians who install the central plant service it, the electricians who terminated the boards test them, and the plumbers who laid the network clear it. Nothing is handed to a maintenance company that has never seen the building.

What an O&M contract covers

Questions

About this service

Does NRGC maintain buildings it did not construct?

Yes. Renovating and maintaining existing factories, facilities, event venues and residential buildings has been part of the business since it was founded. We survey the installed systems first and price the schedule against what is actually there.

Can NRGC station a resident maintenance team on site?

Yes. Because our tradesmen are on our own sponsorship, a resident team — technicians plus a supervisor — can be assigned to a facility on a monthly or project-duration basis, with accommodation and transport provided by us.

What is not included?

Soft services such as cleaning, catering and security are not part of our directly employed trades and are not offered. This is hard FM: the physical building and its mechanical and electrical systems.
